Economic Development
The Village of Dwight is a growing community located in a unique area. Dwight has two interchanges located on Interstate 55 that are prime for development. The Village of Dwight is dedicated to bringing in new businesses and corporations along with retaining existing ones. Dwight offers tax incentives in the form of multiple year tax abatements along with a revolving loan fund for the creation and retention of jobs. Dwight offers large parcels of land off Interstate 55, access to two rail systems, and reasonable land prices.  The Village believes in development and planning for the future; thus looking to diversify its economy by welcoming new business and development in the area.
